Whether it's Round Green Farm Venison, Yummy Yorkshire ice-cream or game from the Hepworth shoot, everything at The Butchers Arms – down to the pickles, chutneys and balsamic reduction – is local: with a capital L!
Chef proprietor Tim Bilton, who trained under the legendary Raymond Blanc, has recently transformed this beautiful Grade II Listed pub – set in the chocolate box village of Hepworth in the heart of the Pennines – into a vibrant and award-winning dining pub, with a menu bursting with produce that's Yorkshire-grown and made.
With a policy to only use ingredients from within a 75 miles radius (even Tim's neighbours leave trugs of gooseberries and herbs at the kitchen door), the menu is super seasonal, super sustainable and super scrumptious.
As Yorkshire Life’s Dining Pub of the Year, crackling fires, cosy armchairs (in which to enjoy the locally-brewed beer) and a warm Yorkshire welcome are guaranteed. And, in the summer, the 'Secret Garden' offers alfresco dining in style with a decked area of parasols and patio heaters.
Come dine at the Butchers Arms and find out why people are returning time and time again.
